Evidence-Based Nutrition For A Healthier India
Nutrition powers health. Health powers change.
Physicians Association for Nutrition (PAN) South Africa, established in 2020, is the national chapter of a global medical non-profit organisation in over 10 countries. We work with health professionals, students and policymakers on the role of plant-forward dietary patterns for chronic disease, climate change and pandemic risk.
PAN India addresses this critical gap through evidence-based nutrition programmes for healthcare professionals, including CME-accredited education, curriculum support, and clinical tools.
Mission
The growing burden of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases in India is closely linked to poor dietary patterns. Addressing these upstream risk factors is essential for comprehensive Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) management.
PAN India supports your practice with actionable, evidence-based resources that integrate seamlessly into chronic disease management.
Access Clinical Resources
Apply therapeutic nutrition using Continuing Medical Education (CME) modules, clinical guidelines, meta-analyses, and India-specific implementation frameworks.
Join Medical Networks
Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals through journal clubs, certified fellowships, and PAN’s regional medical consortia.
Contribute to Healthcare Policy
Engage in clinical guideline development and support national strategies for integrating nutrition into NCD care pathways.
